I can see a change in me. I started liking my work more. I feel that it’s better than even a few weeks ago. My skills printing and with InDesign have also improved quite a bit. The printers scared me before, but now I know how to use them, and will likely use them for my own personal projects in the future.
I made a lot of time for projects. I worked on the sequence book whenever I had the chance because I enjoyed creating it. I did a lot of experimenting before I came up with my final idea. Spending so much time is what really helped me make what I did. I also found myself liking photography a lot more than I used to, and I take photos whenever I can.
I tried to use the feedback others gave to make my book better. I changed the font and covers based on what others said. Everyone gave fairly good advice and I tried to give good feedback as well. It was a little difficult to give constructive criticism, however because everyone was creating amazing books. Each person still had issues, like color choice, size, and content that I felt could be improved on.
I loved creating this book and working in InDesign. I would really enjoy creating another sequence book. I loved taking these pictures and putting them together. Figuring out how to make everything was a lot of fun.
I worked on a few things outside of class, mostly on Illustrator and in my sketchbook. I created a few drawings for friends and I spent a lot of time working on my book. I’ve gone to a few museums and parks and taken pictures in order to hone my photography skills. I feel like I’ve worked on more projects for myself this semester than in the past, which is awesome.
I feel that I’d give myself a 94 because of the amount of work I put in to this half of the semester. I harder but I took off a few points because there is always room for improvement, and my critiques are not the absolute best. Overall, I feel that I have changed a lot this semester, in the best way.
