Hey everyone!
Another dupe for ya on this Thursday night – mascara primer. Okay, hear me out, primer is really important. Most girls out there know the difference a primed face makes, so why would lashes be any different?
I LOVE this L’Oreal primer, a steal at $6.79 from Target, which is a near identical dupe of Sephora’s Marc Jacobs mascara primer. Considering there is a $20 difference between the two, I am calling this a mini dupe. I am big into makeup, but I am not so hot on spending a fortune on products that have near identical dupes. When I found this L’Oreal primer a year ago, I was hooked. I use it everyday and I can actually see a difference in the length and thickness of my lashes versus just using mascara alone.
It goes on white (so don’t be alarmed), but it goes on smooth and after a few coats of mascara, blends perfectly in. I use this product every morning and it keeps my lashes looking nice all the way through the day, with no flakage. It really is a miracle product!
Hey everyone!
I actually have this a few versions of this dupe and I love them! I am a huge David Yurman fan, but the price can be a bit daunting. I found this dupe on Amazon a couple years ago and from there, have build my ‘faux’ Yurman collection!
I love the X bangle style and simplicity of the double metals. It is a chic look that goes with any outfit!
Hi everyone!
Back again from another CRAZZZZY week. I wanted to write this post earlier, but you know – life got in the way. Any way, I wanted to share my favorite dupe I have found in the recent few weeks.
So by no means am I a “sneaker-head” but I love the look of stylish sneakers with dressed up outfits. My recent obsession is Golden Goose sneakers. They are the coolest thing I see everyone around Dallas sporting. Unfortunately, with a high $400+ price tag, I can’t pull the trigger on the real deal. So, I found some great dupes that are almost identical to the real thing.
Check out these beauties below that I found on Goodnight Macaroon. So cute and for sure a price tag below the much loved inspiration. I am planning out my outfits for a trip to Florida I was invited on this May and I will definitely be sporting a pair of these through the airports and around the city!
Hey everyone! I am back from a CRAZY work week. But I wanted to kickoff my next post as a follow up to my previous post: a review of a previous dupe.
As I mentioned last week, I am a huge fan of Audrey Madison Stowe (AMS). She has the coolest blog and is the nicest person (she even commented and liked my last post! Fangirling). She is an awesome source for information and style, too, including her recent review of drugstore makeup dupes. I seriously recommend going to her site and reading this post, as she breaks down makeup and skincare products with links to both of the “splurges” and “saves.”
I have actually tried out many of the products she recommended on both sides of the price line and I can attest that she is correct on almost all of her reviews/recommendations, including:
Since I have yet to review makeup on this site, hit the link below and check out her site!

I have always been sucker for ballet flats. Ever since I was a little girl. But now that I am in the real world I found a new love that might just replace my age-old ballet flat obsession. Mules. Y’all, these shoes are life changing. Somewhere in between a flat and a loafer, these shoes exist and have made me step up my wardrobe hardcore.
Mules go with every type of outfit, regardless of your work dress code and are so comfortable if your job involves a lot of walking around the office, like mine does. So, I have searched out THREE different options at various price points so you can look great at any budget.
The original that the dupes are based off are these Gucci mules which retail in the high $600s. I don’t know about y’all but that is WAYYY out of my price range, so the next two options are ones I could easily splurge a bit on or save on. The next mules down a price point are from Sam Edelman. These $120 mules look astonishingly like the mules from Gucci, but over $500 less. I have a pair of these and I love them. Super comfy and easy to walk in. These do fit a bit wide, but that works for my fat feet! The next dupe down is the Amazon dupe. These mules are $33, with the same style as its more expensive counterparts.
