If you are anything like me you love to shop but will not sacrifice buying items you love at a high price.
However, I have always been a firm believer that when I make a purchase it should be seen as a long term investment. Yes, the financial geek in me takes over in the most irrational/rational ways.
According to Igor, “You decide to go ahead and buy the same item again, hoping that this time it will last longer, but it never does. In the end you find yourself paying a substantially higher price for something that would’ve been much more cost effective if you had bought it in the first place.”
For those of you that make a frugal purchase that maybe a quick solution,but not a long lasting purchase let’s avoid that altogether to save you some money
Some of the items I will be sharing are items I have seen as staple items I must have and am so glad I made my purchase because they are worth every penny.
- Foam Roller
If you are a gym rat like myself it essential to work on kinks in your body to avoid pulling a muscle and over working your body without proper recovery. You can find these in Amazon, TJ-Max, or Target. I have listed one below that is similar to the one I personally own.
P.s. Do not forget to foam roll your IT-band if you do any high impact because it will cause long term aches you can avoid.

2. LED Mirror
If you do not want to invest in an entire vanity just yet you do not have to sacrifice having terrible lighting while doing your makeup.
Learn from my mistake, I purchased another mirrors however, they were battery powered and did not provide the lighting that would be optimal for getting ready for a big event.
For the price and the long term use it is great and if you are anything like me and have terrible vision you are able to hold the mirror as close as possible to ensure you blend your eye shadow and foundation to your desire cover your imperfections.
The one I am obsessed with is great because it is rechargeable, perfect for travel, and it makes you feel like a Disney princess.
You can purchase from the company directly, Ulta, or Amazon. There are others you can purchase but I have highly recommend this to my guy friends to purchase this for their mom’s or sister’s and heard nothing but great things!

3. Skin Care Fridge
If you have a skin care obsession and are not sure what skin care fridge to purchase look no further. Yes, without paying $100 for a little mini fridge. got Before you completely discard the idea of making the purchase of a skin care fridge here are some reasons as to why it is beneficial to own.
- longer lifetime for eye creams
- A place for your facial roller
- a place for your eye patches
- a place for your face masks
- a place for your serums
If you are paying top dollar for a lot of these items I encourage you to purchase one because your products will last longer. It is also well known that if you want to stay youthful it is optimal to use items that are cold to remain youthful. Hence the high demand for Cryotherapy peaking.

4. Portable Charger
If you are always on the go, go to concerts, or festivals this a must have. To make sure you are able to order your Uber/Lyft, stay connected with friends, and to capture every moment you want while you are at your special event. Investing in a good portable charger is essential.

One of the best investments you can make is purchasing polarized single vision sunglasses. 6. Makeup Case
If you want to avoid having your makeup all over the place a makeup case is a must. You can place some of your recent favorites here to avoid having to look through all your makeup when you are in a rush or simply taking it while you are on the go.
7. Foot Masks
If you want to have soft feet and avoid paying to get a half decent pedicure here is my secret. I do recommend using this a week prior to you leaving for your adventure. This brand is a bit more expensive but it does a great job at making your feet extra soft and ready for your weekend getaway or summer trip.

8. Nail Polish
If you want to have high pigmented nail polishes that have no harsh chemicals. Have a longer duration and help your nails grow. I highly encourage you to try this brand Static Nails.
