Fast Folks Cyclery is East Austin’s Single-Speed & Fixed Gear specialty bicycle shop. The Cyclery/shop is located in the heart of the Izba Shopping District on East 6^th Street. Fast Folks is surrounded by an eclectic mix of shops, bars, and eateries; yet its art-house feel and décor add a touch of uniqueness to the Eastside and Austin. Although it looks like a shop transplanted from New York or San Francisco it still retains its small shop ambiance and charm. The shop is covered with art inside and out. All the art was done by artists the owner Natalie G. knows or has been approached by. She has done a great job making the Cyclery a boutique and frequent hangout for her patrons and friends. Her love for cycling shows in her shop and the cycling community has opened its arms and embraced the shop because of this. Fast Folks has been opened since Spring 2009 and continues to serve the single-speed/fixed gear cycling community of Austin. Fast Folks does cater to the single-speed market, but it also has all your basic bicycle needs (tires, tubes, lights, locks, etc.). Fast Folks is the small shop that delivers big; from tires to soy bicycle lube, fanny packs to bicycle frames, Fast Folks Cyclery has got you covered. So if you need parts or a whole bicycle, just stop on by Fast Folks and get your fixie on.
