Macias- February Blog

“All ethics so far evolved rest upon a single premise: that the individual is a member of a community or interdependent parts.”

As I sat down to observe Mother Nature on February 20, 2014 at the SFS garden behind Teresa Hall, immediately I noticed little to no plants and/or flowers blooming in the garden. For a while I was really wondering why that was the case and about fifteen minutes later, when the sun was setting, it began to get chillier and that’s when I realized that one of the reasons why some of the flowers/plants haven’t bloomed yet is probably because of the bipolar Texas weather. This year has been an odd one and it has been getting colder than usual. It was also a beautiful day on the Hilltop with clear skies and moderate winds. I enjoyed it so much just listening to the birds chirp and watching the trees sway from side to side. I wound up staying pas the hour necessary because it was so peaceful.
