The present study aims to document the attitudes of Latinx and recent migrants in Central Texas about the US-Mexico Borderland. I entertain the idea that the attitudes may vary depending on the year and county of origin that each group arrived in the U.S. The goal of the research is to map the attitudes towards the US- Mexico Border in central TX.

 

This study is important because it will provide an overview of different opinions of latinx groups towards a topic relevant to the region. Furthermore, It will help understand and demystify the blocking of Latinos into social and political clusters.
