Putting wires into your phone, collecting data, and just wanting to put your photos and videos into your phone of your family can all be overwhelming. Uploading to your cellular or computer device can be challenging for a lot of people. And I am here to help you know that you are not alone. With there being multiple different ways to connect your device to your GoPro, I will show you all the many different ways to connect your GoPro to your device, so you do not have to stress about having to worry about asking your nephew about how to hook up your device to your GoPro.
Connecting GoPro to Computer
Connecting your GoPro to your computer could be a challenging factor when wondering how to see your family trip to the Bahamas on your computer and not knowing how to accomplish that feat. With the use of downloading Quik to your computer, this easy step can help you personally go a long way into finding your Family trip easier and doing it for free.
Tip: With the Quik app, if you are not satisfied with the photobomb that someone came into your photo or if the brightness is not bright enough, you can also edit your photos and videos to make the quality better.
First you are going to want to download Quik on to your computer, what Quik does for the user is import photos and videos on to your computer or cellular device. With downloading this app, you are closer to your goal of seeing your son Johnnie swimming with the dolphins.
Secondly, Quik will want to make an account with you. By just putting in your information, they are able to keep all the photos and videos for you in the future if anything happens to your device in the future.
Thirdly you will want to connect your GoPro USB cable to your computer with your GoPro connected as well. (Make sure your GoPro is on when doing this)
Last step, Quik will notice that your GoPro is connected to your device and start to automatically download your family photos that you have made all weekend long.
Personally, I enjoy using it this way because you are not having to buy anything extra and are just using the devices that were gifted to you by GoPro and your devices company.
Launching Automatically Method
This method does seem to be similar to the previous method. This method you will not have to download an app unto your computer, instead you can upload them straight to your computer.
First you are going to grab your GoPro and the device that you are wanting to put the cute Valentine’s Day skydiving trip that you took with your loved one.
Secondly you will want to connect the same USB to your GoPro to your device and wait until your Windows or Apple device shows a folder.
Last step, with this folder you will be able to upload your photos and videos of your loving Valentine to your device by dragging that folder on to your device.
I like this method of launching automatically but having a good app in Quik that will have all of your videos and photos on a cloud will help you in the long run when wanting to keep and save your memories if your device is damaged or lost.
SD Card Reader Method
This method maybe quicker than all the methods that I show you today, with this method you’ll have a quicker way of putting your photos and videos of you hanging out with your friends’ rock climbing and then be able to go back out with your GoPro to go for a bike ride with your friends on Yungas Road and traveling Bolivia.
Tip: No need to download anything for this method, that is why people are calling this the quickest method.
First you are going to want to go on Amazon, Walmart or Best Buy and buy a SD Card Reader. They are really cheap and can do a lot for you.
Secondly you are going to want to open the siding where your SD Card is. There is a latch that when slide your finger down, the side opening opens up. After that you will want to take your finger to click on the SD card so that it will pop up when you do so. Do this gently so that you are not damaging the GoPro or the SD Card.
Thirdly you will want to carefully insert the SD Card into the SD Card Reader, once you hear a click noise, you will notice that the SD Card is secured in the SD Card Reader. After this you will be able to input the SD Card Reader into your computer device.
With this fourth step you are going to want to keep your eyes open to see where the SD Card may be. Mostly it will be in the File explorer, depending on if your computer device has a card reader blocker, there should not be any problems within these steps.
With the last step you are going to just want to open the folder and click and drag the photos or videos of you and your kids having fun at Disney World and drop them into your folder of your other family events that you had.
I do think that this is an effective way to upload your videos and photos but with saving money and not having to go and find a SD Card Reader at your local Walmart can be a hassle. But it will and has been proven to be an effective use of your time.
Thoughts
These methods have been proven to work and have given many people that are having trouble with uploading devices a bit of relief. If you have either Android or Apple, it has shown that both of those devices work well with GoPro and gives a unique look at what you are trying to accomplish when using a GoPro. Seeing your family without wondering about any issues with your computer is the ultimate goal. With these steps, you will not only be able to relive your memories with your loved ones, but you can also show off your beautiful wife and kids to your family, friends, and coworkers.
My favorite method will always be with downloading the Quik app. With this app you will not only be able to upload your photos and videos, but they are also saved for you in future references on a cloud like database. Where it is stored for you just in case you drop your GoPro too deep into the Indian Lakes or destroy your cellular device hiking Mount Rushmore. Just by saving the headache of losing your memories to mother nature does not have to go away. Just by adding the Quik App you will have a better chance of saving the memories that made your family a family.
