I was assigned to make an app for my personal portfolio and I thought it would be interesting to explore different ways an app form myself could look. This explorative process however caused me to not finish.

I used a process on the plotter in order to make these drawings. I wanted to use a process that explores space because with the plotter, it is easy to get a 2D shape—having the illusion of 3D space is more interesting to me.

This is a mini zine that explore my ideas of what a villain is and why they make act the way they do. I used hacking motifs to hint that villains and sly and intelligent.

I was assigned to make a matchbook based off a movie. I was assigned to watch The Fall, which took place in the early 1900s so the match book and branding of it mimics decadent motifs used in the late 1800s.

I was not able to find this map on my computer. This is a rough idea of my map of the darkest spots on campus. I thought it would be interesting to document where students potentially feel the most unsafe at night. Perhaps it would help with adding lamp structures.

This assignment I was assigned to take a wikipedia post and typeset it into a booklet. I am deeply fascinated with the parallel between the dismay shown in Edgar Allan Poe’s biography and his writings, so I chose his wikipedia page. I chose fonts that reference how type is used in modern museum in order to display Edgar Allan Poe in that same archaic fashion.
