Jennifer Boudreau- Collages
Scanned: Parking ticket
Pictures: ford image in lips and light bulb.
This picture is supposed to represent fashion and I used the lightbulbs to create the illusion of a fashion mirror backstage, I incorporated the names of many fashion designers to help portray the point of the art.

This is supposed to represent the 70’s and a hip time in which I brought together the new and the old.

This represents not only south congress but many other city destinations that symbolize a good time and a fun place to be with family. I incorporated a picture I took in another City to portray that factor.

This is supposed to cover the space in a way that makes the viewer have to think about the original image and allows them to interpret it in their own way.

This is supposed to represent nature, and people killing nature and how we should take care of it through the little things.
Jennifer Boudreau- Gestalt
I went to South Congress not really sure what to look for in the principle of gestalt. What I found was many different objects, scenes, and even ideas that presented the qualities that are linked through gestalt. Many of my photos focus on repetition and continuity. Gestalt methods include grouping, containment, repetition, and proximity. These are what I tried to focus on while capturing images in the South Congress area.

- Repetition in the clouds in the background, also the small wholes up the post are repetitive

- Repetition in the chairs themselves, but also in the background of the red curtains. There is also grouping because the chairs are grouped together. I also see proximity because the distance is constant between the chairs.

- Repetition in the lights from the traffic post. I see containment because the light post divides the picture and contains the tree to the left side of the image. I also like that the picture looks like it is two unsymmetrical parts.

- Repetition in the light bulbs, containment because the light bulb contains the light.

- Repetition in the background with the yellow lines. Containment because the way the trash can is propped open gives the person viewing the image that it is containing trash.
