1MUSLIMLIFE- I am going to be doing a day in the life video story in which I tell the story of how Muslim students at St. Edward’s University are able to keep up with the demands of their religion in a system that was not set up to accomodate that. I will focus on one Muslim student who is highly committed to meeting all the requirements- follow him as he tries to do his five daily prayers, try to avoid eating pork and also just hear him talk about his personal struggles. The video however will not be a profile of the student, rather he will be the focal point through which the story is told. I will talk to Campus Ministry about how they try to accomodate these students demands as part of their religious diversity journey they’ve been on.
