This is a image of a lily that I drew on the plane ride back to Austin from California. I initially just wanted to draw something simple, but I eventually got really into the project and started to make something more out there. So I added water drops to the lily and made one look like it was pouring down into the flower. I decided to shade the background to make the flower pop more, and give it some sense of depth. Overall, I wasn’t that pleased with how everything came out. I didn’t really think that the water drops looked good. When I finished this I gave it to the woman who I was sitting next to. because I started this thing where I would give the piece I’m working on to the first person to notice and comment on it.
