Pineapple is a fruit of joy. Something is known as eating with a passion and has tones of culture behind it. Pineapples are known as tropical fruit and are well known to eat by themselves or put in cooking or even baking. The fruit has excellent traits and is set in dishes such as meat, fish, rice, and even desserts. I grew up in a Hispanic household. We would eat lots of tropical fruit, mainly fruit cups, from our local market. Every time I would get one, I would look forward to the fruit at the bottom because that’s where they keep all the pineapple. Pineapple soon developed to be my favorite fruit, with a sweet and sour taste with a bit of bitterness towards the end. It didn’t help that my grandma made amazing pineapple upside-down cake which would soon become my favorite dessert. Everything about it was perfect, right to the last detail. Then my grandma soon enough caught on that I love anything pineapple. A Hispanic family Jarritos are known for Mexican soda, and I remember that my favorite flavor soon sufficient to be pineapple flavor

But one question I have always been interested in is how pineapple grows. I love all these types of pineapple flavors, even pineapple by itself, but I questioned how they grow. When you look at a pineapple, you get curious about its development. Pineapples do have an excellent way of increasing. But step one, the fruit must be grown near someone with decent rainfall. Pineapples are best suitable for cultivation in humid tropics, like for instead near the seacoast, where they’re guaranteed rain at least. Pineapple grows in the land prepared for planting, followed by its leveling. Then farmers usually wait until February to April to start growing; then, all the pineapples should be developed by July to September. But usually, a pineapple grows by the pineapple plant flowers, which take to blossom 12-15 months depending on the time that it was developed, and it depends on the area as well. But usually, the farmers start harvesting during May-August.
Pineapple crazy history
Pineapple has some crazy facts, like people do believe that Christopher Columbus and his crew were some of the first people to try pineapple. Because pineapple originated from the European continent, people speculate that he tried it first before everyone. Lastly, the word pineapple in English was first recorded in 1398. For a while, it was known as a pine cone. But then they change it to the word pineapple. Pineapples are usually grown as a small shrub which are known as an individual flowers of the unpollinated plant fuse to form a multiple fruit. Usually, the fruit is harvested from farmers from Latin America and West Africa. In Europe, many pineapples in our market are suppled from Costa Rica, which is 75%. So, when you go to your local grocery store majority of all pineapples are from Costa Rico or somewhere in Latin America or west Africa.
