Norman Lundin is one of my inspirations for contemporary landscape and I will be looking at his work for senior show.
He works at the University of Washington in Seattle. He uses his surroundings as inspiration for his work, both environmental and studio scenes.
His work is displayed in the University and galleria around Seattle.
He studies southern landscapes and natural disasters such as fire.
He works mainly in grey scale and uses very soft and subtle imagery.
His studio paintings and other still lifes, incorporate the idea of human presence without any humans in sight.
