This first collage was for my Visual Studies class. I created it using scanned trash from South Congress, photos from South Congress, and a ton of mistakes. The curling patterns weren’t planned, I made a mistake while cutting and decided to do it over and over because it felt more interesting than my original plan.
This second collage is from the same project. I really wanted to weave together two photographs and mix in some found objects. Now looking back at it, I should have mixed in one more photograph so it wasn’t just a simple grid design.
