On February 21st we visited to the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. The Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, located in the centre of Austin, Texas, is a hidden jewel that appeals to both nature lovers and explorers. This 227-acre path of natural wilderness serves as a sanctuary for local flora and animals, as well as a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Visitors who walk the meandering routes through oak and pine woods, past calm rivers and stunning views interact with nature while also witnessing new sustainability measures in action.

We received a tour to learn about the Evaporating Toilet System and Composting Toilet System.
