Academic Works

Doctor Who and Aristotle
This is an essay I wrote for my Ethics and Art Honors class. I used the assignment as an opportunity to integrate part of my nonacademic life with my academic life in order to show how the ideas of philosophy permeate the lives of people today.

Long Live the King
This was my first attempt at a one act play. I tried to do something kind of unconventional and theatrically dramatic with this project though Iwill never know for sure if I succeeded until a group actually decides to take it on.

Playbill Redesign
The goal of this project was to restore the playbill to its former dignity. Current playbills tend to feature more advertisements than information about the production. I wanted to design a document that preserved the atmosphere of the theatre experience.

Poster Design
This is the first project I attempted using InDesign.

Seeking Mutant Flatmate
I wrote this short story with the intention of exploring the allegorical genre of fiction. This story is meant to be ambiguous enough that it can be applied to any kind of discrimination but direct enough that the message can be clearly visible.

Zombie Logic
This is a play I wrote for Professor Altimont’s Playwriting I class and submitted to the Transit Theatre Group for their New Works Festival. The play was selected and performed on October 17th and 18th in the year 2012 in Mabee Ballroom A.
