V.1. make content relevant to students’ “real world” and interests.

I make content relevant to students’ “real world” and interests.

Reflection:

Content is just so much better when a student foregoes yelling out, “When am I ever going to use this in my life?!?!?”   As part of our energy resource unit, students were allowed to explore different energy use calculators, carbon footprint calculators and some making the invisible visible calculators.  Then They were tasked with taking the project home and chatting with their family.  Relevant and meaningful.
