Reflection:

Group work and Choice are vital components in differentiated instruction.  Vital also is the chance for students to develop an understanding of the content through the exploration of knowledge from various other sources than a traditional text.  In regard to lessons on energy flow, students were allowed to choose a final product and were given a variety of pieces of literature ranging from picture books to excerpts of text.  Computers and suggested websites and interactive tutorials were provided.  The result below not only lead a pair of students to construct an understanding of the content together, but allowed all of the other students a chance to enhance learning as well.
