Attached below are some of my strongest lesson plans created as a student teacher. If you would like to see more lesson plans I created you may look at my student teaching folder on Google Docs here.
What’s In My Bag?: Language Arts
This lesson was an introduction to inference. I stocked my purse with items, pulled them out, and asked students to infer something about me based on the items. This was a fun and accesible activity for them which was especially appealing to them because I had just joined their class!

Introduction to Polygons: Math
Below is an introduction to polygons activity. At the beginning of every class we completed a number talk together where we worked through a math problem together.

Peer Reviewing Activity: Writing
Students worked together to peer review their stories. They used this chart as a guide to follow along with.

Acting Out The Water Cycle: Science
This lesson included an interactive song about the water cycle (complete with hand movements!) as well as an acting out of the water cycle. Students got to be different parts of the water cycle to understand exactly how the cycle happens.
