Description:

During my freshman year I served as a mentor at River City Youth Foundation in Austin, Texas. I mentored and supported minority youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. During this time I taught the importance of personal values and safety as well as encouraged higher education. I tutored in core content areas to assist students in mastering course curriculum. Lastly, I organized and facilitated games and recreational activities.
