Artifact I:
Depicted here is a picture of myself holding a sheet of plastic upon which I demonstrated an example of abstract painting while listening to music. The use of the plastic was beneficial because it allowed me to demonstrate painting to music without having to take my eyes off of the students.

Some of the students created paintings using similar color choices–but the techniques began to change once confidence in their own ability began to build.

Students created their abstract paintings (white sheet) while using their technique practices (manila sheet) as a reference to guide their painting choices.
