Richard Lucas
(1648-1715). A schoolmaster, preacher and later Doctor of Divinity, Lucas was the author of several works. His Practical Christianity earned the approval of Steele, who cited it in the Guardian (No. 63). He was prebendary of Westminster, and is buried in Westminster Abbey.
