Bonjour again!
Today we are going to *still* talk about Canva but on the stories segment. Now that we have covered how you’re going to make posters, logos, brochures, let’s get into a little deeper. With the help of this blog and Canva, you have become a master at social media posts. You are ready to conquer the next step, social media stories. You are looking at other businesses and see how frequently they are posting, with all these cool templates. How are you going to compete?
Canva Stories App
Yes, an app! This means that you can create all those wonderful story ideas on the run, at the tip of your fingers. Once you download the app, it will ask you to log in, from their you will see this:

Canva Stories Editing Capabilities
The Text Customization
The app allows you to change font, size, colors, bold, italicize, and spacing. If you need to add more text, or wish to change the template’s text you can pick from a bunch of free text templates.
Add Images to your Story
You can add additional images from either your camera roll or you can browse the 1,000,000+ images in the Canva Stock Library.
Cute Illustrations, Stickers, and Shapes to Bring You Story to Life
Another great feature is Canva having thousands of FREE stickers and illustrations you can add to your photos and make them stand out. You can search for anything! These elements will bring your story to life, adding personality and branding to your stories. Choose animated stickers to grab people’s attention once they open your story.
Animate Your Stories
The last step before you share your masterpiece, is adding animation. Canva gives you lots of different options to choose from. These animations make certain pieces of your story move, so make sure you look at each one to see which one (if any) really speaks to you. Once you find that animation that speaks to your masterpiece, then share it with the world!
Canva Stories is a great tool for small business owners to use while on the go. I love the convenience of being able to edit on my phone, and post directly from the app. Even if you don’t have stock photography made, Canva allows you to use their photo and video library FREE! The story templates alone are enough for me to use Canva Stories, but adding all the animation, stickers, and elements make it a must for small businesses trying to break out of social media slump. If you want to see how to make an eye catching Instagram story from scratch, watch the below Design With Canva on YouTube.
