For one of our assignments in my Interactive Media Production & Design class, we were to do a video of a news story featuring a reporter, videos/pictures from the event, and an interview about a current even in Austin, TX. For my video, I chose to report on the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
P.S. For some reason, the video files were not compatible with my laptop so I had to use a free program off the internet to convert them and it left the nasty water mark. 🙁
For another one of our assignments in COMM 2399, we were assigned to film a 10 minute documentary with our assigned partners. I was assigned to work with Chanel T. and Farah T. We chose to do something a little less serious than everyone else and filmed our own version of MTV’s True Life. Titled “True Life: I’m a Hilltopper,” our mini-documentary is about the lives of the students at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. It follows three students (myself, Chanel, and Farah) as we go on with our day. It also features popular spots on campus like Main Building, Ragsdale cafeteria, and the new International Lounge in Moody.
