The end of the the first days of the UEFA Champions League tournament ended with some surprises and normal results. No surprise that Barcelona came up ahead of their group after their 3-2 game against Spartak Russia. But the biggest upset was the current champions, Chelsea tied against Juventus 2-2 and are in the bottom two of their group with only 1 point. The Italian team Juventus is reportedly happy with the draw. Another surprise is Manchester United coming in at 2nd in their group even after a win, and Malaga a smaller Spanish team and Paris Saint- Germain of France are both first in their group.
Now I can only hope Real Madrid’s manager Jose Mourino will come to his senses and put Sergio Ramos back on the pitch!
