Before wandering South Congress, I figured that the easiest Gestalt methods I would find on the streets would be symmetry, repetition, similarity, and closure. However, I found better examples using repetition, similarity, and proximity and containment instead. My use of containment was the last image I took because I struggled to find a fourth Gestalt usage, but I found the lower sidewalk path just before the intersection contained in railings on both sides. For proximity, I used the wooden fence- originally I was going for repetition, but I noticed the fence had gaps and though it was a fence, the wooden planks were just close together. The tiles on the side of the building were my use of repetition and I found pavement rocks to exemplify similarity.
