My plan initially was to wander SoCo and take pictures of the dogs Austinites value as pets and take everywhere they go because I appreciate the love we have for pets. When I couldn’t find any dogs surpisingly, I stumbled upon the graffiti of the skeleton under the umbrella and to me it felt somber. The sky at the time was overcast, so I decided to roll with this plan of somber street art that could have meaning to the artist or none at all. My reaction to finding these stickers and random graffiti was that it may not be random at all because the people that put those there had the clear intention of doing so. I feel that these images demonstrate impulsive actions within humanity and the messiness reflects that.
