Before creating this assignment, I had no experience whatsoever with After Effects or animation. I only knew basic transitions and I had never worked with such a massive file. This piece illustrates my growth as an animator as well as a designer. I chose effective typefaces that show contrast in headers and numbers in this animation as well as creating clean, crisp designs in Illustrator. The typefaces and my designs are my biggest strengths in this piece.
My animating skills have plenty of room for improvement, as it can be noted the couple of color glitches in transitions. As a new animator, I am proud to have dealt and completed this project after assembling and animation 197 layers of objects. This grueling assignment changed the way I do my projects by getting ahead early on so I have time to address my mistakes.

Aside from little experience in Visual Studies, I have never used a proper camera other than the one on my iPhone. Learning in baby steps how to take proper steps was a hard process for me but I am proud of the end result, even if my images aren’t perfect. I am most proud of my texture image showing the blue gloves which portrays my strength in taking close-up photos. I utilized both space with the wrenches and tools in the background, texture of the gloves and desk, and value of the gloves in this image.
There is room for improvement with my camerawork in taking photos with proper exposure and getting the focus correct. In these images, I had an issue with too much noise in the photos. This project, going forward, has taught me to approach other photo assignments by playing off of my strengths.
