The subject of my digital research project was the Kurdistan Worker’s Party, also known by their Kurdish initialism, the PKK. I focused both upon its history and current activities as a member of the anti-Islamic State coalition, as well as its relationship with Turkey, its status as a terrorist organization, and its practices of gender equality.
