Hey Fulbrighters and international friends! What do Inci Tugce Uckok (Turkey), Juan Gonzalez (Colombia), Hugo Mendieta (Nicaragua), and Mohamed Talha Rafaai (Morocco) have in common? Well… not only are they amazingly cool, bright, and well dressed fashion mavens, but they want to tell you their Fulbright Stories in an intimate lecture hall setting. As promised at February’s Meet & Greet, we are presenting a casual and engaging face-to-face with international guests we’ve persuaded to sit on a small panel.
Please join us Wednesday, 8 May 2019 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM (18:00 – 19:30) for an opportunity to hear from international Fulbright students as they describe the diverse backgrounds that ultimately brought them to Texas. You’ll hear personal insights and experiences from these Fulbright Scholars including stories about their lives and studies here in Austin, Texas. They will also touch on their academic goals and professional objectives following studies at University of Texas. Please join us for these brief presentations to be followed by food and conversation. The event is free and so is the parking! (Will these future luminaries be signing autographs for our erudite and crazy hip audience? Come and see for yourself!)
