My work is created through a constant state of conflict; an open battle between myself, ideas, and the outcome I am always searching for through art. I am obsessed with constructing and deconstructing the exterior world around me, therefore the process of creating in itself is an attempt to find the answers to questions such as: Where are we going? Why is this happening? What does this mean and what does it say?
Each work contains a common thread derived from this concept of looking at the duality of a person, place, or thing in hopes that it will lead to a higher understanding of emotional attachment, memory and connectivity, the subconscious, and personal reflection.
These works range from processes such as archiving to documentation to random thought to personal reflection and writing.
