My name is Arianna Quinones. I am studying for my Master of Science of Digital Marketing and Analytics from St. Edwards University. I am an Analyst, Loyalty & CRM at Lowe’s. For our Social Media Analytics course, we are creating a blog to measure metrics of our post from posting them on different social media channels.
Since I work for a Home Improvement and Appliance Retail company, I wanted to write a blog for Millennials that want to create a small business off DIY projects. I would love to use what I have learned in my program to create content giving small business marketing tips for Millennials. “The Millennial personality seems to be pre-set to “leadership” mode. They’re not sitting around waiting for it to happen” (Works, 2020), and during this time, it is super important to be purchasing from small businesses, local and ecommerce.
Through this 5-week journey, I will be providing content that benefit small business owners and people that would like to become small business owners. DIY for millennials encompasses blogs about do it yourself types of businesses that you could start, how to start it on Etsy, and how to market it on social media.
