Scientific Writing

writing

Science depends greatly on its written works to carry knowledge to future generations.  If not for the written word, passed down through years of research, scientists would lose track of old experiments and techniques.  Scholars and scientists alike argue over the main concepts that go into writing a good scientific paper, but in many cases it is agreed upon that communication and style is the main foundation for a strong paper.

Through finding appropriate sources, communicating to the readers on their level, and writing in a simplified style any writer can produce a well-written scientific paper.

Scientific papers contain three themes:

1) The use of previous research through citations.

2) Communication between writer and reader.

3) The writing style used in the sciences.
