Buying expensive, organic, facial products like masks and exfoliants is a vice a lot of men and women have today. But sadly, being on a college budget doesn’t always allow for these kinds of small, simple luxuries. Throughout the year I put together a couple of home-made, organic concoctions for facial applications. Some of these money saving, resource reducing products include:
- Exfoliant
- Used coffee grounds: so after you make yourself a pot of coffee, instead of sending the used coffee grounds to the trash or compost, save them and use it as an exfoliant! You can use it on your face, hands, feet, etc.
- Honey mask
- So this is a mask you would leave on for a couple minutes. The ingredients include:
- Honey
- Olive oil (1 tsp)
- Lime juice (fresh squeezed)
- Cinnamon (a couple dashes)
Hope you enjoy ! (-:
