Hello, my name is Lorna Marie Probasco ’20 and I am one of two Digital Media interns for the Office of Sustainability! I am a fourth-year Global Studies student in the Dual Degree Program here at St. Edward’s in partnership with Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Japan; this is a fancy way of saying I am getting two bachelor’s degrees instead of one. I will be receiving a BA in Global Studies from St. Edward’s and a BA in Asia Pacific Studies from APU.
From my time in Japan and at St. Edward’s, I have been privileged enough to meet different people from around the world who hold a passion for the environment and sustainable living and have in turn become more conscious about the way I lead my own life and the differences abroad and at home. Through this internship, I look forward to working with the Office of Sustainability in spreading awareness and tips on sustainable living.
