Even though it’s summer, it’s never too early to start thinking about your next internship. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality invites students to apply for the Mickey Leland Environmental Internship Program. Applications open January 1, 2020 although you can find all of the requirements online.
The process requires a recommendation letter from a professor. As you head into the fall semester, get to know your professors, make time to visit their office hours, and ask questions. When it comes time to apply for internships, you’ll know just who to go to for a recommendation letter.
