2017 SOURCE Symposium: This Friday April 7, 9am to 3pm, Ragsdale Center, Mabee Ballroom and Jones Auditorium

 We cordially invite members of the St. Edward’s community, including faculty, staff, students, and guests to the 2017 SOURCE one-day symposium of oral, lightning, poster, and roundtable presentations.  This event is this Friday, April 7, 9am to 3pm in Ragsdale Center, Mabee Ballroom and Jones Auditorium.  Please come support this St. Edward’s-specific symposium in which undergraduates present their original research and creative works.  This event is free and open to the public.  Lunch will be served during the poster presentations, 12pm to 1pm in Mabee B.

Save the Date!!!

SOURCE is early next year!  On Friday April 7, 2017 you and your students will have a chance to show us what they’ve got!  Mark your calendars and get those researchy and creativey juices flowing!

SOURCE program and Harald Becker High Tea

The physical program can be acquired at the sign-in table in front of Mabee B on the day of SOURCE.

The Harald Becker High Tea will follow SOURCE and begin at 3:30pm-4:30pm in Mabee C.  Your RSVP’d ticket can be picked up at the same sign-in table in front of Mabee B. Be sure to write your name on the ticket and hand it to Dr. Mary Brantl upon entry to the high tea;  we will use this ticket to acknowledge you (student) by name.  All SOURCE mentors, and volunteers are welcome to attend the high tea. We will also unveil the second ever limited edition SOURCE item – you can only get it by attending the tea.

SOURCE Info Sessions – only 1 left!

We would like to offer two opportunities to learn more about your SOURCE presentation; the same information will be presented at both meetings. Dr. Casie Parish-Fisher will speak about presenting research in front of a group of your peers and guests. 

The dates are:

Wednesday April, 6 at 4:30pm-5:30, in Carter Auditorium 

OR

Tuesday April, 12 4:30pm in JBWS268.

Do not forget to submit your presentations or posters to print according to deadlines you have already received via email.

Thank you to those who have submitted abstracts!  You will be notified, via email, of your acceptance and participation in the 15 Year Anniversary SOURCE 2016 prior to March 12, 2016.  This email will also include next steps to prep for SOURCE.

Don’t forget to email an R.S.V.P (alexan@stedwards.edu)  of your attendance to the Herald Becker High Tea following SOURCE that is held from 3:15pm-4:30pm on April 15, 2016 in Mabee Ballroom C.  This year we have a wonderful limited edition surprise for those who participate in SOURCE and attend the tea.
