I find myself in America. This leg of my journey is 2 years in and I’m loving my surroundings. I come from England, Newcastle Upon Tyne exactly. My surroundings couldn’t be more opposite. My city is around a 6 hour drive from London, however it still as interesting and vibrant as the capital.
Soccer brought me to Texas. After failing to receive a professional contract with a club back home I decided to look across the pond, where I had various offers around the country. Austin shouted out to me for no apparent reason. It just felt right!
As previously stated I love soccer, but I generally love all sports and also live music. My aim for the next few years is to see more of America and maybe South America. I’ve managed to see most states around Texas, and I was lucky enough to travel to Chicago over summer. With a road trip to California planned with my brother next summer, I think I’m fulfilling my ambition.
