Craw Daddies cooked by Village Mommies

Craw Daddies cooked by Village Mommies

At this Muslim fishing village, the men go into sea and catch crabs, crayfish and fish while the women see over the crayfish fisheries, do the books, take care of the children, cook, and prepare for the market. This particular fisherman’s village is where I began to focus on Thai women, specifically Thai housewives, for my semester documentary photography project. The project focuses on some of the responsibilities women have within thai and village culture.
