Kim Abbott (’10) played soccer for the Norretan Soccer League in Sweden, then returned to Texas to play for the Houston Aces (Women’s Premier Soccer League).

Gail Alzate (’11) is a Mechanical Designer at Fugro Oil & Energy Company in Houston, TX.

Ruben Alzate (’21) has accepted an Analyst position to work for Wells Fargo through Aston Carter.

Grace Akomezogho (’18) is a Data Analyst for Apple.

Kirby Baker (’12) earned a Masters in Mathematics at UT-Austin and is a Health and Benefits Actuarial Analyst at Mercer.

Jesse Barbour (’07) is a software developer at q2ebanking.

Karlee Bradley (’20) accepted a 1 year position at Andrea house in Phoenix Arizona, where she will be working to support people experiencing homelessness.

Heather Bruch (’06) earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from Texas State in 2011.

Zachary Carpenter (’12) teaches mathematics at Holmes High School in San Antonio, TX.

Andy Cabezas (’04) earned his J.D. at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and is a Database Engineering Manager at

Victoria Carrillo (’12) is now a Weapons and Tactics Analyst for the US Air Force and began a Texas A&M University master’s program in Statistics in Summer 2014.

Adam Castillo (‘08) completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics Education at The University of Texas at Austin in August 2017.  He is a currently a Visiting Postdoctoral Associate at Florida International University. He was named a Mathematical Association of America Project NExT Fellow in August 2018.

Dezirie Cavazos (’15)

Li-Chun Chao (’15) accepted a math-related job in Fremont, CA.

Antoine Chamoun-Farah (’21) will graduate in May 2021 from both St. Edward’s (BS in Mathematics) and Washington University in St. Louis (BS in Chemical Engineering, Masters in Engineering Management). He will pursue a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin starting in Fall 2021.

Stella Cunningham (’21) is an Associate Data Analyst for Pulse8, a healthcare IT company.

Fred Deutsch (’06) is an operations specialist at RenewData.

Omar Dominguez (’19) is a Human Resources Manager for Macromoltek, Inc., a computational drug discovery company in Austin.

Abby Edgar (’15) serves on the board of managers for Shepard Investment Group and began master’s program in geography at Texas State University in Fall 2019.

Sharon Freshour (’16) began the Human and Statistical Genetics Ph.D. Program at Washington University in St. Louis in Fall 2018.

Ayesha Gonzales (’19) began a PhD program in physics at Case Western University.

Valeria Gonzalez (’17) began the ESTEEM Graduate Program for entrepreneurship at the University of Notre Dame in Fall 2017.

Joseph Grantham (’15)

Harris Greenwood (’14) completed a master’s program in mathematics at Emory University and then began a graduate program in public health at Emory University in Fall 2020.

Robert Grizzard (’07) completed a doctoral program in Mathematics at the The University of Texas at Austin and began a job as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Fall 2014.

Taylor Huey (’21) has been accepted to the dual degree program at Washington University in St. Louis to obtain a BS in Systems Science and Engineering and a Masters of Engineering Management.

Nicolas Hyde (’15)

Will Jaramillo (’07) is a student at Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Alex Johnson (’13) began a job as a procurement analyst for SpaceX in California in early 2017 after three years as an actuarial analyst at Houston Casualty Company.

Payden Johnson (’12) completed a master’s program in Engineering at Purdue University and began a job as an Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti in Dallas in Summer 2014.

Leslie King (’15) is a Marketing/Research Analyst at Read-King Commercial Real Estate in Houston, TX

Adam Lamoureux (’20) has a Data Analyst Internship with SPARK Technologies.

Stephanie Lao (’21) will attend University of California at Los Angeles for their M.S. in Statistics program. She was also accepted to University of California at Davis (M.S. in Statistics), University of Colorado at Boulder(M.S. in Data Science), and Notre Dame (M.S. in Data Science).

Florian LeGouriellac (’14) joined a British engineering firm, Laing O’Rourke.

Sable Levy (’18) is a student in the University of Houston Statistics and Data Science Masters Program.

Sterling Loza (’15) earned an MBA from St. Edward’s University in 2018, worked as Director of Curriculum & Operations and Math Department Head for Global Prodigy Academy in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, Korea, and was admitted to a MS/PhD program in Space Resources at Colorado School of Mines in 2019.

Munabo Lwali (’06) is an automation engineer at Visa.

Leela Madan (’05) received a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2009,  was admitted into the State Bar of Texas and is a licensed patent attorney.

Sydney Mack (’20) is a member of the ASPIRE Leadership Development Program at Baker Hughes, an Oil & Energy company in Houston.

Sierra “Dani” Pedroza (’13) graduated from a master’s program in Mathematics Education at Texas State University in May 2016 and teaches Precalculus and Statistics in a project/inquiry-based setting at Manor New Tech High School.

Ryan Poplawski (’06) teaches mathematics at Athlos Leadership Academy and has also worked as an IC Physical Mask Designer for Apple.

Matthew Shirley (’00) completed a doctoral program in Mathematics Education at the at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX, and is now an Associate Professor at Lone Star College.

W. Paul Wright (’12) completed a master’s program in Mathematics at Lamar University and began a job at the National Security Agency (NSA) in 2014.
