Visual Identity: Mark

I was assigned to make a mark for the green belt. I was inspired by the spiraling structure of blooming leaves and the structure of water splashes. By combining the two I was able to make this logo.

Plotter Lesson

I used a process on the plotter in order to make these drawings. I wanted to use a process that explores space because with the plotter, it is easy to get a 2D shape—having the illusion of 3D space is more interesting to me.

This is a shoot exploring the functionality of fashion and it’s place as a social marker. My partner and I explored two seemingly opposite tastes in style and attempted to merge them together by exploring how a person can embody qualities of both social groups. Preppy + Cyberpunk = Cyberprep

Object Lesson

I was assigned to make a matchbook based off a movie. I was assigned to watch The Fall, which took place in the early 1900s so the match book and branding of it mimics decadent motifs used in the late 1800s.

This is a map that i produced in order to show my process of how to figured out where my professor lived based on his purchases within the past year. I embodied a government interface that tracks people. I thought it was interesting that our professor would release this intimate information so I wanted to exploited that intimacy./
