When researching the Fulbright Association I found that one of the main goals of their conferences and organization is to inspire actual change and development through the research they fund. Wanting to exemplify this goal, I started to think of the actual steps and process it takes to enact change through theses presentations and discussions. I suddenly had a vision of people sitting down at a table, passionately discussing these world issues over coffee late at night — absentmindedly leaving coffee rings and stains all over the table. This imagery became the visual metaphor for the conference, the idea of people beginning the process of a passionate movement.
