Alex Uja

I’ve never heard of anyone that works in the gaming industry so it was nice to see what he had to say. It also surprised me that he worked for SXSW, I always thought that it was just a festival that came once a year to Austin like  ACL, I didn’t think that it was an actual career that people could take.

Anthony Zubia

I feel like Anthony got to a really good start in the graphic design business, he was a student designer at St. Edward’s then he volunteered to design for a non profit, then went to intern, and ended up getting a part time job there when he graduated. He had already a pretty good amount of experience even before he graduated and went to the “real world”.

Edith Valle

I’ve heard a lot from Edith as she’s presented at some of the Risograph Lab Lectures, and in general. It was nice to hear a little more about the designer in residence program that she’s in here at St. Edward’s. I like how even though she graduated she is still part of the SEU community.  I also admire how her work is very culture based, I can see how she has very strong roots with her family’s culture.
