Four year degree plan created. This major will help me prepare for a career in the future as it will give me skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. Knowing how to use this software properly will be very essential to my career as a graphic designer. I will also get knowledge on how to print from Ink Jet printers and the Risograph lab. I don’t really have a backup plan. The classes i’ve taken so far I have been successful in, and enjoy doing the work. I do enjoy photography and would love to incorporate that, not necessarily photographing people, rather landscape and fine art.
I considered minoring in Communicatins, but I looked at the classes I would need to take, and to be honest I found the course list boring as I would not enjoy being in those classes, I want to genuinely enjoy my time here at St. Edward’s without having to dread going to class. I love graphic design and am not looking in minoring in anything, though I am considering taking a couple classes in marketing or business since i would want to start my own business one day.
