For this project, I had to photograph real-world examples of design elements: line, value, space, texture, shape, and size. All photos but the last are a combination of two of the elements. From left to right, the photos are as followed: line/value, value/space, space/texture, texture/shape, shape/size, size. This project helped me grow as a designer in that it required me to see and think of things in different ways and to pay closer attention to the design elements around me. I am now able to understand how different elements can compliment each other, creating an aesthetically pleasing piece.
