MAP ONE: ONLY IN AUSTIN, TEXAS | This map is meant to serve as a guide to the some of the hottest tourists spots around Austin and to help maximize the user’s popularity on social media. This specific map allowed me to come up with creative solutions to design and functional issues. The markers on each landmark, developed from small dots, to flag poles, to larger dots and finally to pin points. I really enjoyed creating each landmark badge because it challenged me to illustrate more and work with color. I wanted this map to be easy to use while still aesthetically pleasing.
