I watched the 2nd movie about Manni and Lola. I thought it was interesting how at the beginning it showed footage of Lola running and then it would switch over to show an animated version of the same scene. The director showed many different points of view for the same actions, for example: repeating words, Manni’s actions in the telephone booth, etc. There seems to be a “tunnel vision” motif where everything in the background is less in focus that the focal point, which is usually highly active. It was interesting to see the scenes flashing back to back to back and the director really taking advantage of all possible angles.
