Image Capture for Book

Reflection

Since my book documents my process of bike riding, I decided to pull images from my bike route on campus. When biking, I tend to focus on specific details of the landscape rather than the landscape in its entirety. For example, I may just see a bird in a tree rather than focusing on the tree itself. The smaller details of biking are what capture my attention. I also wanted to capture a bleak color palette that uses muted tones in my photography. The recent rainy weather has been a perfect opportunity to capture thisĀ palette. However, I still need shots of dusk, as I want to transition to a cold, bleak color paletteĀ to something warmer and more comforting. I plan to use these images in a more abstract sense rather than merely using them as a background image. These are not all the files, they are merely a fraction of my images. I’m attempting to shoot all my images from the first-person point of view from my bike.
