Mapping Project: Cognitive Map (Decisions Decisions)

For this map, I was able to lay out a clear, fluid sequence of information because these kinds of decision-making questions and answers were relatable and realistic in my own everyday life. In creating the icons, I created whimsical symbols to pair with the some of the more playful questions and answers. In terms of stylizing the information, I stayed consistent with the shapes and typography from the Personal Geography and Visualizing Information maps. The drop shadows add more depth and dimension to the icons and the whole structure of the questions and answers. However, I could have been more consistent in keeping more of the icons on their own, rather than encompassed inside a circle because some of their details get a little lost and become hard to see.
