Several Islamist extremist groups identify Canada as a legitimate target

“Homegrown” Sunni Islamist extremists are posing a threat to violence.

Other international terrorist groups like Hezbollah or the remnants of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam continue to pose a threat, whether it is a direct attack against Canada and its allies, or the use of our territory to support terrorism globally
